Mwanzo Community Center
In response to community-identified needs, we have constructed a three-story community center in Rabuor Village. This new building houses Mwanzo's Early Childhood Development (ECD) program, a computer lab with internet services, a health clinic, a library, a multi-purpose room, and Mwanzo's Kenya office. The building is now complete, including solar panels and a ramp so that the center will be accessible for more members of our community. We are continuing to raise funds to equip and furnish the interior. Please join us in cultivating opportunities and igniting futures by raising the funds necessary for lab equipment, an x-ray machine, medicine, computers, furniture and so much more!

In the clinic trained staff will provide dental care, AIDS monitoring, diabetes treatment, X-Rays, sickle cell therapy, training of community health workers and more. The summer fundraising challenge will fund the purchase of the equipment necessary. Please join us in bringing these critical services to Rabuor!

We are excited to have opened the community center including the health clinic! We are continuing to purchase equipment for the clinic, computer lab and other community services housed in the community center. Here is a sample of how your donation could be used immediately to have a tangible and meaningful impact on the lives of our Mwanzo community members:
● Professionally trained staff for the health clinic for 6 months- $6,000
● Medicines, equipment (such as x-ray and ultra-sound machines and a dental chair), and supplies for the clinic, pharmacy and lab - $23,500
● Computers for student computer lab - $17,000
● Equipment and materials for the music/recording studio - $10,000
● Computers and tech equipment for the internet cafe - $17,000
